AU Pro basketball 2026

/

Monday, February 4, Athletes Unlimited Pro Basketball tipped off in Nashville, TN and it was extra special as we celebrated National Girls and Women in Sports Day. I arrived around 3 PM while everything was still being set up. Fans enjoyed activity stations like making keychains, a basketball simulator to test how high you can jump, and free ice cream. AU ticket holders were able to line up afterward to meet players from both teams after each game.

Roxbury’s Shey Peddy #34

The National Anthem was performed, and with DJ Jay Shale spinning to kickoff the night had everyone excited.
The AU halftime performance came from Nashville native Daisha McBride. Seeing queer Black and Brown women take the stage during Black History Month and National Girls & Womenโ€™s Day truly set the tone for the evening and month!

Sydney Colson and TP covered the games Sydney on the broadcast for ESPN and the WNBA App, while TP was on the floor keeping the crowd hype. TPโ€™s public speaking skills have grown and she is becoming more comfortable behind a mic…in front of people! Make sure you check out “Unsupervised” while in Nashville, TN.

From The 617 to 615 | Meet Shey Peddy!
Bostonโ€™s | Roxburyโ€™s | own Shey Peddy is a WNBA player currently competing in Athletes Unlimited (Team Eclipse, #34). Our city doesnโ€™t always give enough credit to players who rise from the Boys & Girls Club level to the national stage, and Shey is a perfect example of that journey. Despite finishing with four fouls, she commanded the floor as the point guard, reading the court and setting up her teammates with key assists. Peddy was the 2025 AU Defensive Player of the Year and an All-Defensive Team member last season
Make sure you stay tuned in to our very own superstar.

Connecticut Sun Shines In AU Pro Basketball
Tina Charles and Jacy Sheldonโ€™s (Glow) on-court chemistry instantly reminded me of their season together in Connecticut. Jacy is quick on her feet, while Tina finishes her shots effortlessly. Bria Hartley (Gold Rush) is always fun to watch she plays hard and is constantly hunting for that steal. Aneesah Morrow (Eclipse) brings that LSU energy wherever she goes. She battles for the ball and gets her shots up over defenders, and that mindset will have her creating her own stats in no time.

Champs Are Here!
NaLyssa Smith and Kiersten Bell, both 2025 WNBA Champions. While NaLyssa plays hard. Her free throws could use some work, but those 3s were smooth and falling every time.

Moments
Moments on the court with Alyssa Clark telling KP, โ€œSheโ€™s not your friend,โ€ made the night pure vibes a true family affair. Seeing Kaitlyn Chen in action again was exciting for me. The last time I seen Chen and Morrow play together was at Mohegan Sun when they were seniors.
