WhySham has provided DJ services for prominent figures and institutions such as Senator Elizabeth Warren, also current and past mayors of Boston. She has DJ’d a range of Special Events including the 2024 NBA Boston Celtics Championship, Boston Calling, Boston Pride and First Night Boston .

WhySham is a 4X Boston Music Award nominee, and opened for the iconic DJ Jazzy Jeff while being the Headlining DJ for NAACP 141’st Convention. Her #YourCommunityDJ deems true. However, it is her ability to fuse music with activism, as tools for healing and change, that truly sets her apart.
With a strong track record in live performances, WhySham has shared stages with major artists (Megan Thee Stallion, Ric Wilson, and EarthGang). Her notable performances have garnered media attention by being featured in publications such as The Boston Globe and Boston Herald, and more while being a Street Team Member for “Lunch Is Ova” on SparkFMOnline. She has hosted Spark FM’s ‘Spark The Block” featuring Trina and Ricky Blaze.

In addition to her performance work, She teaches Basic Music Production using Music and Food to Entertain for all ages. WhySham served as Music Curator for the Rogerson Adult Day Rehabilitation Center, booking artists for monthly performances. She currently teaches at Madison Park Technical Vocational High School.

Her educational background includes a Certificate of Completion from Interise Streetwise ‘MBA’ ‘23’ and a Bachelor of Science from Cedar Crest College with a minor in Communications and a Certificate in Child Welfare ‘13. She has received several awards and grants, including the Better Beaches Grant (2023), Mass Cultural Council Grant (2023) and The Boston Public Health Commission grant for building community and addressing trauma and the impact of COVID in neighborhoods of color (2022).
