From The 617 To Your BackYard Could Not Have Been More Truer For Myself Hanging w/ Jaylen Brown and DDG.

Boston Celtics All-Star Jaylen Brown and artist/streamer DDG touched down in the heart of the city, or like I told DDG “We in the hood”. I don’t want anyone ever to get it misconstrued I absolutely love everything our neighborhoods bring to the Greater Boston community. I am a product of “The Projects” so when I see the city getting loved the way I love it…I’m going to go hard.

Meanwhile in South Boston, we were waiting for Jaylen to arrive (at the time I didn’t even know DDG was with him until I started watching the stream) first official city stop. Before anyone saw them, they heard it sirens cutting through the air, engines idling, and a convoy of black cars rolling up like something out of a movie. When the doors opened and Brown and DDG stepped out, the reaction was instant shock.

But back to spending the day with JB and DDG, we connected with, families, as part of their Christmas Carol Tour.
Neighbors peeked out from windows. Folks who were just walking to their car or headed to the corner store suddenly found themselves witnessing an NBA star right outside their apartment. Can you imagine that? One minute it’s a normal Boston afternoon the next, Jaylen Brown is literally in your neighborhood.

Instead of rushing inside, he acknowledged everyone watching from afar. It wasn’t celebrity presence; it was community presence.
