First Middle School Game of the Season for Me and it was A Joy to Watch. The gym filled with sidelines of students, parents, and teachers! The support was definitely present.
APR came out strong but found themselves down by 20 points at the end of the first quarter. By the fourth quarter, the momentum shifted, and the game turned into a battle. Both teams hustling, but with APRโs defense they held Epiphany scoreless in the last quarter.
APR had their own standout as well. #0 her ability to be guided by her coachโs was a key factor in keeping APR in the game. โFoul Lineโ you hear Coach yell and she got back on offense and landed her shots every time.
Despite their effort, APR couldnโt close the gap, and Epiphany secured the win with a 10-point lead.
Epiphanyโs Big 3โ#14 Kali, #12 Ilah, and #15 Ashleeโput on a show. Their chemistry on the court was great to watch, with Kali leading the way with 16 points, Ashlee adding 13, and Ilah contributing 8 ; I believe these players for sure are going to dominate as they progress in their basketball careers.
